Day Late, Dollar Short

I received many emails yesterday wondering why this week's edition of the blog was MIA. Well, you Gold Member Roberts On The Run™ Subscribers (and you know who you are - Jackie) know that you did have access to this post on Monday. Remember, just $79.95 a year upgrades your subscriber status so that you receive timely issues, insider information, great incentive programs such as FREE Jiffy Pop® popcorn for one full year, six-months of FREE gas at any Amoco nationwide, a $500 gift card for your nearest Apple Store, and many other great incentives. So buck up, support a great blog and its outstanding advertisers.

Okay . . . I made this whole thing up. There are no "Gold Members", no advertisers, and, well . . . probably no actual readers . . . except you. I just plain missed my deadline and was looking for an out. Sorry. But since you bothered to open the page, let's keep this thing moving. This week, let's take a look at some of the things on the web that have caught my attention recently.

My son, Murphy, has always had a talent for photography and videography, even at an early age. Take a look at this video he shot with a small pen camera during his early years. It's footage of one of his friends actually being struck by a passing car. My heart skips a beat every time I watch this, but thankfully the young man was fine, although obviously traumatized. Listen for the honking car horn just before impact. Murph recently uploaded this to YouTube.

Think some of the touchdown celebrations in pro football are becoming a little excessive? Well check out this victory "dance"(?) from the world of ping pong. Yes, ping pong . . .

Murph recently introduced me to one of my favorite things on the web - Pandora radio. Are you listening? If you're not, well you should be. You simply type in the name of your favorite artist, then this site customizes a complete "radio station" with similar music based on your selection. I started by typing in "Brian McKnight" and LOVED every song that followed. Check it out now at www.pandora.com.

Okay, so have you been "Skypeing"? My movin'-and-shakin' bro-in-law Roger (who is always ahead of the technology curve) told me about this great online communications tool a few weeks ago, and I'm hooked. This (FREE) innovation instantly turns your laptop or computer into a video conferencing center. You can call and talk face-to-face to virtually anyone that has web cam capabilities. The screen clarity and sound is impressive. Look me up (jeffrobertsnyc) in the Skype directory now at www.skype.com.

Thanks, as always, for reading. Until next time, remember to pick up the pace and run your own race,

- Jeff

Both drugs have also been denied FDA approval the first time around and are awaiting news on their second
attempt. Withdrawal from levothyroxine can be done but it takes
6 weeks of withdrawal for the remaining thyroid tissue to be completely starved.
Hence, broccoli is a must-add ingredient in your vegetarian
weight loss diet.

I understand that those are the products designed by manufacturers to make them money and if they are
endorsed by winning popular professionals, sales will be
high. Aside from the obvious difficulties of pitching so brilliantly in such a high
pressure situation, Larsen's feat is even more impressive when one considers that the Dodgers had four future Hall of Famers in their lineup: Duke Snider, Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella and Pee Wee Reese. For the purposes of this game, a "set" is at least three cards of equal value such as three Jacks or three fours and a "sequence" is made up of at least four cards that are of the same suit and run sequentially such as three, four, five, and six of spades.

While these parks aren't the same, you might need to carefully analyze the price of them. They have a sign up that they are closed for cleaning from 2PM to 3PM - while at Buttermilk there is only one bathroom for the whole campground and I can see why they can't close it.
Many of the most pleasant trips we've had were at camp sites that were relatively basic yet in the midst of beautiful countryside.

The second piece should fit the width of the pan,
plus extending up the sides. There are so many great gift ideas for those people who enjoy baking, it makes gift buying a lot easier than it used to be.
Typically overlooked as practically nothing far more than just
dessert belittled as a symbol that provides nothing more than a location to stick the candles, the
birthday cake has lengthy been relegated to 2nd tier status in the realm
of get together arranging.

Cooking one-pot meals is the way to go when it
comes to cold weather camping, so be sure to pack a cast iron
dutch oven before you head out for your camping
adventure. Also, bigger animals may flock to the campsites: foxes, badgers and
in some areas even bears may come uninvited, attracted by the smell of food and leftovers.
A wet bandanna around the neck not just covers it from the sun, however it
also keeps you cool.
